My Specialties & Services
Let’s talk about what I can do for you, your child, and/or your family
Interventions I Specialize In
Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing
EMDR is an evidence-based intervention that helps individuals heal from distressing life events, trauma, or chronic negative experiences. It uses bilateral stimulation (typically eye movements, tapping, or auditory tones) to help the brain reprocess traumatic memories so they no longer feel as distressing or intrusive.
Most commonly used to treat: Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Complex trauma and developmental trauma, Anxiety and panic, Depression, Grief and loss, Phobias, and Negative core beliefs (e.g., “I’m not safe,” “I’m not enough”)
ART
ART is a brief, evidence-based therapy that uses guided eye movements to help individuals quickly process and resolve distressing memories and sensations. While ART shares similarities with EMDR, it is more structured and directive, often producing noticeable relief in fewer sessions.
Most commonly used to treat: PTSD and trauma, Panic and anxiety, OCD-related distress, Phobias, Grief, Stress reactions and performance anxiety, Pain connected to trauma or emotional experiences, and Intrusive images, nightmares, or stuck memories
Trauma Focuses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
TF-CBT is an evidenced based therapy to help individuals cope with effects of a stressful or traumatic event. It helps children and their parents learn new skills to process their thoughts, feelings, and cope with everyday stressors.
The goal is to help the client cope with the stressors they endured, and move forward in a safe and positive way.
